That is my confession. I want to like him and enjoy his movies. I think it is his face that scares me. I never really know what he is going to do with it. Sometimes it lo
oks like this.Which is just clearly wrong. The mouth, the eyes, even his neck is wrong. Makes my skin crawl to look at that.

He can also look like this. Which I'm sure is not that upsetting to most people, but it is to me. I think it is the fear of the unknown. I just don't know what that face is going to do next. And look at the eyes. There must be some evil lurking behind those eyes.

What if he ends up looking like this? I just can't handle that.
But there are other people that freak me out too.

I really don't need any movies with Adam Sandler in them. I just can't relax and enjoy myself with this on the screen. I mean, do you trust that face to not suddenly do something to make you uncomfortable?
I don't want to be accused of being sexist. There are some women that make me uncomfortable too. Sandra Berhhardt for one. I mean, I'm sure she is talented at whatever it is that she does.
But she looks like she could swallow my entire family - in one gulp. Scary.
Rosie O'Donnell? Nothing normal about that face or mouth. I just don't want to watch her in anything. It makes my blood pressure go up just to hear her voice. But did you hear the news? NBC has given her a prime time variety show. You can just imagine the execs at NBC sitting in their meeting about this saying "What was that sound? Oh, yeah. It's us scraping the bottom of the barrel."Most talk show hosts bother me. I'm not afraid of them, I just don't care for them. Except Ellen. What's not to like about Ellen? I am a little afraid of Oprah. Here she is all chummy-chummy with the big-man-to-be. She could have me exiled to another country or something. That woman has scary power. But at least her mouth is normal.
Now, don't even try to tell me this is normal.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Yeah, some faces just weren't meant to put babies at ease!
But I have the sudden urge to go remove ALL TRACES OF MY FACE from the world wide web - I'm so grateful I haven't made it onto your list yet!
I feel a need to go fix up my face now.....it's pretty scary this morning!
Wowwww....totally agree with all that you mentioned. I like Ellen at times. Sometimes she gets on jags with her personal political thinking that I don't really feel is necessary. I don't care how she lives her life. I just don't need a whole hour of it. And Oprah...yeah...scary is a good word. Too much money and too much power. She has no idea how the average woman lives. There. I'm through. :)
HAHA!
Every one of those pics made me giggle like a weirdo.
Wait, maybe that's the secret. They're weird, I'm weird...
Maybe I'm making a weird face right now!
Just kidding.
That was so funny! You are one hilarious chick! Oh, and I agree about Jim Carrey. Scary!
I agree with Carey's face...but...I don't think he's made a movie yet that isn't good. Have you seen Bruce Almighty? OMG, so funny!
Adam Sandler, many good ones. (although I'm stuck watching them mainly because my daughters watch a lot). And we've seen Happy Gilmore about 100 times.
LOVE Ellen! Oprah? Alittle annoying
I was not much interested in Jim Carrey until he did the Truman Show. That movie was amazing and showed that he was more than just a bunch of funny faces.
I hear you sister. Lots of comics that are really, really funny scare the poo out of me. Robin Williams in an interview would just make me squirm. Ditto jim Carrey. I just don't know when they are going to go off - or when and if they will stop once they do.
..shudder..
yeah .. some of them are like train wrecks .. you dont want to look .. but you cant help it .. no .. dont look .. but I have too ..
oh yeah .. and did i mention .. Bacon ?
Ok. with you, except. . .I LOVE Adam Sandler! He's my generation's Belushi or chevy chase or cosby or whoever. . .
LOL- rosie drives me a little crazy too.
heehee I agree except I can't stand Ellen, she just bugs me for no apparent reason!! I want to like her! MAYBE I don't because I think she seems amused at herself a lot??
Re: Adam Sandler - I like him but can't stand his voice! He baby talks! Even worse, that guy Steve in Sex and the City. (Doesn't it sound like baby talk if you're American???? Schteeeeve?)
Yes, he is kind of freaky faced.
But Adam Sandler? I like Adam Sandler. I've watched Big Daddy countless times (well, at least parts of it...it's one of those, if it's on HBO and I flip by, I'll stop. That and Bring it On. Now I think I've gone and embarrassed myself. :))
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Wow you have a busy family but so much fun I'm sure!
I love Jim Carey but I can without Rosie. Her voice drives me up the wall!
Haha! That's funny. I totally agree with all of it. I think Sandra has stuffed a whole family in there. You know it's bad because even Madonna doesn't want anything to do with her.
I didn't hear that about Rosie. One more reason to stay off TV.
I just love how you think! I totally get the fear of what that face might do next thing. Totally get it.
What does Sandra Berhhardt do anyway? I'm baffled.
Do you think these people scare themselves every morning in front of the mirror?
And do you think Jim and Adam are funny, or do you just not like their faces? Cuz I don't think they're all that hilarious.
Who knows? Maybe I'm just a big loser...
I love the header and title of your blog - it's great! And, thanks for stopping by my blog. :)
Loved this post. I totally agree about Rosie O'Donnell. Hello, NBC - what were you THINKING?!?!
She's become so crass and rude - I thought America hated her, and now she gets her own show on NBC? I just don't get it.
I so totally see where you are coming from! I have no idea what Jenny McCarthy sees in him - honestly!
Too funny!
Rosie is the anti-Christ.
And I have a friend who sort of looks like Jim Carrey. It's creepy.
Yeah, Jim Carey has always weirded me out. And I don't really like Adam Sandler either, except I did like a couple of his more serious movies. (Spanglish and something else I can't remember...)
No youre right he is sort of creepy
Love, love, love (in a totally hetero way) ELLEN.
Jim Carry... yeah, don't know exactly what it is... some mixture of heebie jeebies and loose grenade that makes me unable to watch him.
Hon, when you were a wee child, were you terrorized or scared witless by a big-mouthed clown? :O)
I have to agree with all of this; no, ti's not rational- but these people make me uncomfortable, too :-P
Hilarious!! Jim Carrey's face freaks me out too!
Okay, I am sitting here looking at Adam Sandler and thinking there's no way that he can really do that with his face? Really? REALLY? Please tell me it's photoshopped because it is too disturbing for me to think it's real.
Yeah, my daughter tells me I have a rubber face that lloks normal and then not, that I could publish a book called "Alan's 101 Ugliest Faces". Little wanker!
You had me at "bottom of the barrel." It is so true and so freaky. Poor gal needs to be saved and quick before her blood pressure does her in.
Finally! Another person who isn't in love with Jim Carrey. I mean ugh! I can appreciate his talent (sort of), but he is always "on." That's gotta be tiring.
Looks like you touched some nerves Deb ☝I'm with you on the Jim Carrey and as for Sandler I am always astounded by how much money his STUPID movies make... but Punch Drunk Love is one of my all time favorites. He was brilliant in that one.
lol, yeah, Jim Carrey is definitely gifted. He may look crazy, but he does amazing things with his voice. I loved the Grinch and Horton Hears A Who. He really does a great job. He's so animated, and can seriously do things w/ his voice and face that NO ONE else on the planet can do. You don't even care for him one smidgen?! lol My husband loves to watch him. But, you also have to like that kind of slap-stick comedy. I can handle it sometimes. For example, I loved him in Liar, Liar, but I can't stand him in Me, Myself & Irene or the Pet Detective movies.
yikes. good thing your blog doesn't have a webcam that can see into my computer!!!!!!!!!!
i can be pretty scary myself!
You remember that face-matching thingy with the celebrities?
Jim Carrey was one of my matches.
I'm just saying. MWAH HA HA HA HA!
:D
Hee!
Those pictures are so funny (and yes, maybe a little disturbing :) )
They almost look like all of them could be related to each other!
Have a great weekend! :)
Those would have been the exact three people I would have chosen...Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler and Rosie O'Donnell. I refuse to watch movies with any of those people in them.
You totally nailed this! LOL! That is so freaking funny! some people are just scary-weird!
Shannen Doherteys eyes are freakishly crooked.
I agree with you on all of them. Adam Sandler is the only one I can tolerate. As far as Rosie goes I am so pissed that NBC is cancelling one of my favorite shows but even more pissed that SHE is going to be on now. Her big fat obnoxious face makes me cringe.
You've been TAGGED!! =)
hahahahaha!
Love Ellen - Oprah? not so much.
LOL! I'll try not to make in bizarre faces while writing this comment. :)
Yes, I totally remember American band stand. Loved that show! Never was clever enough to pick up in good dance moves though.
I AM SO WITH you on this. Especially Sandra B and Jim Carey.
Great post, and thanks so much for stopping by!
Yeah, what Aunt LoLo said. Hahahahahahaha! Scraping the bottom of the barrel...classic.

And this is the number one reason I don't post face shots of myself on my blog.
Your reference to Rosie's new prime-time talk show totally made me laugh out loud. That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the promos for the show last night on TV. I couldn't help but think, "Really, Wednesday night at 8:00? Does that woman still have that much appeal to the TV viewing populus? I just don't think so!" :)
And what is with Rosie's spat with Barbara Walters? C'mon now, none of us are interested. In fact, we're more than simply not interested...we're afraid.
Thanks for stopping by our blog. We appreciate any and all love for our resident Ask a Dad.
Okay, I can't stop coming back to this post to look at scary Jim Carrey faces! Help me!!! Aaaah!
All very good points! Adam Sandler CRACKS me up though. Happy Gilmore? Classic...
I just found your blog and had to comment. I agree with you that Jim Carrey, Rosie and Sandra are all scary! I absolutely cannot stand Rosie - and I used to like her before she became so LOUD and OBNOXIOUS!
Oh yeah...Jim Carrey totally scares me. And Rosie...freaky!!! She has always sared me...always!!!! How did these people every become "famous"? YIKES!!!
I totally agree with you on Jim Carey, he is scarey and weird. Rosie should not be allowed out. Ellen is ok and sometimes even funny.
I think Robin Williams is another one that can be classified as as scarey.
That is NOT normal!!! That was a great, funny post!!
You know, I've always felt the same about Jim Carey. I want to like him, he is funny, and everyone lese loves him. But he kind of creeps me out.
Sandra Berhhardt is so very creepy.
Rosie makes me want to stick pencils in my ears :)
Sandra Berhhardt scares the crap out of me too!
Nailed it! I do quasi-like Adam Sandler - selectively, though...
Hey, I have a little award for you - posting tomorrow (on Sunday)...
MWAH!
I've never liked Jim Carrey either...
Sarah whatshername is the scariest, I'm convinced...keep her away from babies and small children. She's a friend of Madonna's: she posibly WOULD swallow them....
HILARIOUS!!!!
I feel the same way about Jim.
Jim Carey is just weird & so is Adam Sandler. Oprah is way too powerful & people listen to her! And Rosie, OMG, why was she ever allowed to be on TV? Can't stand her voice or her point of view! But I do like Ellen most of the time, she is usually really funny. I also like to watch her dance, looks like a long tall monkey! HeeHee! I like the way to write & think, you say it like it is! Hugs***Renea
PS--read your post about not being allowed in public places too funny! But I can relate! Ha! Hugs***Renea
I am so with you on Jim Carrey, Sandra, & Rosie. I'm almost ashamed to admit that we part ways on Adam Sandler. He's not a great actor, but he charms me sometimes.
I'm with you on all four counts. Those people creep me out. I really don't pay much attention to Ellen(although I should, she's funny)or Oprah.
You have been given the Creativ Blogger Award. Check out Thrifty Ways and Ideas for details. :)
OK, I am with you on all of them(except Adam Sandler. Really? I think he is funny and cute).
Can we add "The Rock" to your list? His too bright grin and snakey looking face wig me out.
Ok... I am a huge Jim Carrey fan.. but then again I am a rather warped individual. I am so gonna have to go with you on the Rosie thing.. some people are just famous for being famous ya know.. her voice gives me migraines.
And don't even get me started on Paris Hilton..
Take care
Tammy
They all seem so exhausting to be around. I've been accused of being slightly animated, but I hope I'm not in the same league as these folks!
Sandra- oh my yes.
She has always given me the willies.
yes! jim carrey has always unsettled me, but i admit to having a lil crush on adam sandler during his snl days, so i have to part ways, there.
talk show host = annoying for sure. i love when rachel ray cooks, but wish she could do it on mute, and kelly ripa...boooo.
