I wasn't much of a tanner, much. And I've been blessed with olive tone skin, back in the day. The older I get, the whiter I get. Probably because I limit my sun exposure.

It's shocking when you think of how we would slather baby oil on our bodies and then bake in the blazing sun until we reached lobster red status. If we did use sunscreen - Coppertone #4 was as good as it got.

Ah kids :) I love the things they say to brighten our days! Whenever I'm out in the sun anymore it just feels like my skin is aging before my eyes - even with sunscreen! And the newly discovered spots on my hands make me less than happy. Hope that spot heals quickly!

I grew up not far from the beach and can remember staying there all day long, just lying in the sun trying to look cool. I was so dark, someone asked my mom if I was adopted. I've never been to a dermatologist to have anything looked at, guess I am afraid of what they might find.
I still don't use sunscreen...bad bad, I know.
