Entertaining, funny and yet disgusting at the same time. Tarantula hairs? I didn't know they could do that-- mostly because the closest I've ever been to one was behind a very protective windshield while it crossed the road in front of me. I'm finding myself rubbing my eyes right now. Gross.

My first boyfriend had a tarantula, and used to like to scare me by taking it out of its aquarium when I was over... then I'd leave the house until he put it away! NOT FUN!!!

Okay, you're not going to like this, but I'm a tarantula lover. I've had them as pets and they're WONDERFUL. :)

I've never had one shoot hairs at me either. I know they can, but I think they have to feel mighty threatened to do so.

I have a natural revulsion/fear of spiders and for no reason I can think of. I say it is biological, humans can be harmed by spiders and so I think we have the innate fear of spiders to protect ourselves.

Yes I have had experiences where they are on me...however in a more private part...down my shirt! WTH..nowhere else to fall/crawl (my husband takes high offense you know..tehe)? Also, At least not in my mouth..cough..cough..just had to clear the hair ball out..giggle. AND..Not with a big ole hairy beast of a spider but a spider non the less..YUCK

Hate spiders! I don't even dare to kill it! If I ever see one, I'd grab the closest object near to me and try to throw it to the spider - hopefully it'll land smack right on top of the spider...
